Refund Policy

1. General policy: backing is non-refundable

When you back a creator, you are making a voluntary payment to influence a public leaderboard ranking — not purchasing a good or service that can be returned. A ranking position isn’t an item that can be given back, so backing amounts are, as a general rule, non-refundable once the payment succeeds.

2. Exceptions we’ll consider

• A duplicate charge caused by a technical error.
• A charge for an amount you clearly did not intend to enter.
• Confirmed unauthorized use of your payment method.

Reach out at support@stanbid.lol with your payment reference and we’ll review it — approved refunds are handled case by case, at our discretion, through Dodo Payments (our payment processor and merchant of record).

3. Chargebacks

If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer — it’s faster to resolve directly, and chargebacks can result in restrictions on future backing from the associated payment method.

4. How approved refunds are processed

Refunds, when approved, are issued back to the original payment method via Dodo Payments. Processing times depend on your bank or card issuer.
