Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Submitted channel data: the name and YouTube URL anyone types in when submitting a channel to the board.
• Google account data (only if you sign in to claim a channel): your name, email, and profile picture from Google, plus read-only access to your YouTube channel data (via the youtube.readonly scope), used only to verify you own the channel you’re claiming.
• Payment data: handled entirely by Dodo Payments, our payment processor and merchant of record. We do not receive or store your card number or full payment details — Dodo shares with us only what’s needed to record that a payment succeeded (amount, currency, a payment reference ID).
• Session data: a session cookie once you sign in, so you don’t have to re-authenticate on every page.

2. How we use it

• Displaying the leaderboard and each entry’s public information.
• Verifying channel ownership during the claim process.
• Processing backing payments and crediting them to the correct entry.
• Basic abuse prevention (rate limiting by IP address).

3. Who we share data with

Google (for authentication and channel verification) and Dodo Payments (for payment processing) are the only third parties data is shared with, each solely to provide their respective function. We do not sell personal data.

4. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us at support@stanbid.lol. Note that deleting your account does not retroactively alter historical backing totals already reflected on the leaderboard, since those are append-only records of payments that occurred.

5. Children’s privacy

StanBid is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
